Star bakers from water safety specialists Nant Ltd celebrated World Mental Health Day by raising £242 for mental wellbeing charity Mind.
People from across the business brought in homemade cakes, cookies, and doughnuts during the week (10th-14th October), to raise funds and awareness of mental health issues.
The money raised will provide 90 people with access to safe, online peer support group services through community-based organisations, and a further five emergency service workers will be given support, information and advice which working on the frontline.
Nant People and Culture manager, Abbie Loveitt said: “A huge thank you to everyone who showed their support by baking and purchasing cakes throughout the week.
“The event was organised to not only raise money for Mind, but to encourage colleagues to grab a cake and a cuppa and discuss mental wellbeing in a safe environment.
“Thank you to our star bakers: Kashish Khwaja, Amazing Igboanugo, Tyler Sullivan, Ethan Norris, Aimee Twyford, Sharon Cramb, Ashley Shields and Aine Plimmer.
“The money raised will help pay for vital mental wellbeing services such as counselling and support for frontline workers, ensuring that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.”
