Committed to providing exceptional customer service, water safety specialists Nant Ltd have looked at significant training throughout their workforce to ensure their Quality Management System is at the forefront of all activities.
Nant Ltd has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for the past 7 years, which has allowed for solid foundations as the business has grown rapidly. To ensure the services provided continue to be delivered in a consistent way and meet customers expectations, a phased roll-out of training against the standards has begun.
An initial cohort of 10 people completed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Foundation course through In-Comm training in September, with a further 10 to attend in January 2024. In addition to this, 3 of the management team will complete the advanced training, Internal Auditor course in January allowing for further internal audit schedules and improvement activities to be completed.
The training initiative is overarched with the in-house “Collabor8” group, where colleagues throughout the business will come together to review existing processes, spot opportunities to improve them and embed them through advancing internal training matrices.
People and Culture Manager, Abbie Loveitt commented: “The business has grown rapidly over several years now, and we need to ensure that our processes and systems adapt and innovate to ensure we provide our customers with the exceptional customer service they are used to.
“The group has worked hard to review several processes so far with some fantastic results. We are big believers in innovation and staff development, and we are proud that this is firmly embedded into our working culture.”
Client Liaison Officer, Simon Love added: “The Collabor8 group is a great way for colleagues from different parts of the business to come together to review our processes and make sure they still work in the most efficient way.
“As a business we all work collaboratively to give our customers the best possible service and the process improvement training together with the working group will ensure that this happens.”
