Nine Nant plumbing colleagues have achieved a new practical qualification to help boost their professional skills.
The team members all picked up a certificate in the installation and servicing of domestic vented and unvented storage systems after attending a course run by Walsall College.
Nant Director Jamie Green commented: “Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to achieve this qualification.
“As a company we are always pleased to offer new learning opportunities to the team.
“Not only is a skilled workforce essential for providing a high standard of service to our customers, but we really value being able to give our colleagues the chance to gain new skills and advance their careers.
“Training and development is a key part of our business strategy, and we hope to be able to offer more learning opportunities in the future.”
Chris Worthington, who attended the course, commented: “I really enjoyed the course at Walsall College. It was great to be able to attend a training course that was funded by the business.
“It was an opportunity to challenge myself to learn new skills, and I also really enjoyed spending time with others on the course.”
Nant offers a wide range of training and development opportunities, including internal and external training, apprenticeships and coaching. In 2022 the company launched an innovative personal and professional development programme, Elev8, for its emerging leaders.
