Nant has been named as finalist for a prestigious business award in recognition of its work on employee wellness.
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary year, Nant is among the final four in the running for the Employee Wellness Excellence Award at Express & Star Business Awards 2024 which have been announced today.
With the judging to be carried out next month, the awards criteria states: “A winning company should exemplify a holistic approach to employee well-being. It’s not just about offering benefits but creating a culture that prioritizes and fosters the health, happiness, and growth of its workforce.”
Launched in 1994 to initially focus on serving West Midlands customers, Nant has evolved into a provider of water safety services and products for clients throughout the UK, offering innovative systems to monitor the safety and security of water supplies and based at Wolverhampton Science Park.
The 2024 awards will also be celebrating the Wolverhampton-based newspaper’s 150-year history, with 11 prizes to be presented at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls on Thursday, June 13.
The other category finalist businesses include Assa Abloy Opening Solutions UKI, Compton Care and Pallet-Track Ltd.
Express & Star acting editor Mark Drew said that the awards were an important part of the 150th anniversary celebrations and would shine a spotlight on some of the region’s most outstanding businesses.
Nant has won a series of awards for its work including the SME of the Year prize at the 2023 Nachural Summer Business Awards and the Excellence in Tech and Innovation award at the 2022 Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards.
Nant’s investment in innovative technology led to the successful deployment of thousands of digital remote monitoring water safety units at customer locations throughout the UK, granting clients 24-hour access to real-time water management data and cutting annual in-person visits annually, significantly improving efficiency and environmental impact.
