Colleagues from water safety specialists, Nant Limited swapped their warm beds for a cold and wet Molineux Stadium raising over £750 for the homeless and vulnerable in Wolverhampton.
Abbie Loveitt, Jamie Green, David Parkes and Matt Price braved the cold and rain as they slept under the stars on Friday 17th November to raise funds for the Wolves Foundation and Good Shepherd.
The Nant team joined 165 members of the public as they slept rough for 12 hours in the Stan Cullis stand at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The Good Shepherd in Wolverhampton provide food, support and volunteering opportunities to vulnerable people living in the city and help to create sustainable pathways out of poverty.
This is the third successive year Nant colleagues have taken part in the Molineux Sleepout raising more than £2,000 for the Wolves Foundation and Good Shepherd.
People and culture manager Abbie Loveitt commented:
“The pouring rain and cold conditions made the sleepout tough but knowing we were raising vital funds for the Good Shepherd and the Wolves Foundation kept us going.
“As a business based in Wolverhampton, we feel that supporting the most vulnerable people in the community is the right thing to do.
“The sleepout was a sobering reminder of the harsh reality many homeless people face each night.”
