Leading specialist provider of water safety services and products Nant Ltd has been named as finalists for another top business award.
Wolverhampton-based Nant, who won the Excellence in Tech and Innovation prize at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2022, are among the shortlisted businesses up for prestigious prizes at the West Midlands Leadership Awards 2023.
Managing Director Carl Baker is a finalist in the Young Leader (aged 35 and under) category in the competition, organised by news brand Business Desk West Midlands.
The regional news title says “West Midland’s business community will be able to come together to celebrate the best in business leadership” at the awards night, to be held at Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham city centre on 9 March.
Carl Baker said: “As Nant continues to grow, building a strong team who deliver great work for a range of clients including the care sector, retail and hospitality, it is fantastic to see our work recognised by the judges of these important awards.
“Although my contribution has been singled out in this case, we progress as a team so I am pleased to represent all my colleagues as Nant is named among some of the best businesses in the West Midlands.”
Following a successful period of continued growth, Wolverhampton-based Nant took home the prestigious Chamber prize in November for their delivery of tech innovations to benefit customers across the UK. They were also commended in both the Small Business of the Year and Business Commitment to the Community categories.
Over the last year Nant, whose clients include leading care home groups as well as well-known retail brands, have grown revenues and profits while introducing new tech-based services and delivering consistently high standards of work, while supporting a range of community good causes including dementia charities.

Earlier this month Nant showed its commitment to giving colleagues a fair level of pay by achieving accreditation as a Living Wage Employer.
