In an inspiring act of kindness and dedication, Emma Hughes has been fundraising and growing out her hair over the last three-years to donate it to the Little Princess Trust.
Emma’s commitment and selflessness culminated in a significant fundraising effort, where she successfully raised £769 to support the charity’s noble mission.
Emma’s Story:
Emma’s story began three years ago when she decided to grow her hair with the sole intention of donating it to the Little Princess Trust. This charity provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people who have lost their hair. This may be due to cancer treatments or conditions like Alopecia. Additionally, the trust funds vital childhood cancer research across the UK. Emma joined Nant Ltd in January 2024. She is an integral part of the Client Liaison Team.
Today, Emma’s journey reached its peak as she bravely cut her long-grown locks. This symbolises hope and solidarity for those affected by hair loss. Her act of generosity not only highlights her compassionate spirit but also brings attention to the invaluable work done by the Little Princess Trust. “We are incredibly proud of Emma and her dedication to making a positive difference. Her actions resonate deeply with our company’s values, and we are honoured to support her,” Matt Price, Client Liaison Manager.
Expressing her delight, Emma shared, “It costs them £700 to make, style, and fit just one wig, so I’m really pleased to have passed that with my page.”
