Leading specialist provider of water safety services and products Nant Ltd have been named as finalists for three leading business awards.
Following a successful period of continued growth, Wolverhampton-based Nant are up for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce awards for Excellence in Tech & Innovation, Small Business of the Year and Business Commitment to the Community.
The Chamber is staging the awards to celebrate the achievements of the region’s business community. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Friday 16th September at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
Over the last 12 months Nant, whose clients include leading care home groups as well as well-known brands such as The Gym Group, the Café Rouge restaurant group and luxury hotel chain Harbour Hotels, have grown revenues and profits while introducing new tech-based services and delivering consistently high standards of work throughout the pandemic.
Managing Director Carl Baker said: “Everyone at Nant is delighted to see our company recognised for its successes by being named as finalists for three leading awards from the Black Country Chamber of Commerce. Nant continues to be an active member of the Chamber, playing our part in the Black Country region, so it means a great deal to make the finalists stage.”
Nant launched a recruitment drive earlier this year after 2021 saw revenues and profits grow. The management team attribute the success to the acquisition of several new clients, as well as Nant’s diversification into gas services to meet market needs as customers plan their recovery from the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Nant saw demand for their expertise grow as property owners and site managers adapt to changes in commercial occupancy due to Covid restrictions, which increased the risks of legionella spreading in under used premises.
Last year Nant saw a double-digit increase in turnover and a healthy increase in profits despite the challenging economic environment. With a number of new clients coming on board, the directors are working to expand the capability of the company, which has its HQ in Broad Street, Bilston.
