Nant are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities and environments in which they operate.
As a leading provider of water safety systems to care home groups across the UK, and with around 40% of UK care home residents living with dementia, Nant recognised the need to build their work in the community around dementia related good causes.
Together with ensuring care home systems are safe, Nant colleagues have dedicated time to raise awareness and vital funds to dementia charities.
Memory Tour Café
Nant sponsored a 36-show entertainer tour, organised with Wolverhampton Grand Theatre to care homes across the West Midlands.
The shows by vintage performer Miss Beth Belle visited 18 care homes around the region, entirely free of charge thanks to Nant’s support.
Miss Beth Belle helped spark memories among older people, including those with dementia, by performing a repertoire spanning from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Director Jamie Green said: “Seeing so many audiences entertained, especially those living with dementia, has made our support worthwhile as we know the difference these performances make for audiences at care and residential homes, helping with memory, speech and communication skills.”
Fundraising
The team set a target to raise £2,000 for their chosen charity of the year, Dementia UK.
Through a series of fundraising events including a sponsored 100k dog walk, Black Country to Birmingham half marathon and a 10,000ft tandem sky dive the team exceeded their target, raising £2,700 for Dementia UK.
The fundraising will help the charity to fund the cost of Admiral Nurses who provide vital care and support to those living with all forms of dementia.
Managing director Carl Baker added: “We are proud to support a variety of dementia related causes and recognise the importance of their work. As our presence in the care home sector grows, we hope to continue our pledge to support vital dementia activity.”

I can recommend Nant as an excellent contractor for water management. Their service is efficient and cost-effect, but above all else, they deliver high standards or customer service and ensure that customer’s needs are met by delivering a flexible approach to the service they provide. Eco FM
We have been working with Nant for 12 Months and have found them to be a reliable company with a very usable compliance portal. Whilst moving to their portal they delivered a seamless transition with a series of webinars and ‘mop up’ calls to ensure all onsite are aware of their responsibilities. The Gym Group
Nant Ltd worked with Quantum Care to remove the risk of these bacteria through extensive surveys and monitoring programmes. This resulted in the removal of a vast number of Dead ends, dead legs, removing excessive water storage and other causes of water stagnation, and upgrading cold water tanks with lids, lagging, overflow screens, etc. They even worked with Quantum care heat engineers to cure hot water and heating temperatures problems. I have worked with other legionella contractors, but it is Nant that I feel most confident with. Their prices are comparable to other companies, but the service has always been far more dependable and standard of product is excellent. FitzRoy
