It’s been just over a month since we unveiled the Development Plans for our people in 2024. We’re thrilled to bring you on this journey and share some exciting updates with you. Our HR and Quality Systems Manager, Abbie Loveitt, has put together the below article (If you want a reminder of our post from March click here.)
A bit about Abbie:
Abbie is a compassionate, enthusiastic, and supportive leader who endeavours to nurture talent and bring out the best in people. An advocate for cooperation, she is guided by the belief that ‘together everyone achieves more’. Abbie shares a commitment to personal development. One of her proudest moments is achieving her Level 5 HR qualification with distinction shortly after giving birth to her son.
April 2024 Update:
“In March we unveiled our development plans for our people in 2024. We highlighted our commitment to providing training for all new team members. This covers essential areas such as asbestos awareness, confined spaces, manual handling, working at heights, and legionella awareness. We’re excited to announce the expansion of our certified training offerings to include COSHH.
But that’s not all – we’re proud to say that by June 2024, every single one of our engineers will have completed their COSHH training. I am excited to share that as of April 2024 a 52% completion rate has already been achieved! To further bolster the skills and expertise within our teams, we’ve enrolled our engineers in an Unvented Course.
By focusing on the hygiene and plumbing department, we’re on track to have 80% of our team members trained in this area. The remaining 20% are scheduled for completion by the year’s end. Additionally, we’re over the moon to share that Nant has been recognised as a finalist for a prestigious business award! We’re honoured to be among the final four contenders for the Employee Wellness Excellence Award at the Express & Star Business Awards 2024. This nomination is a testament to our unwavering dedication to employee well-being.
