In celebration of International Women’s Day 2022 Nant’s Georgie Newport and Sharon Cramb attended the Black Country Women in Leadership event organised by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
The event, held at Weston Park on March 10th aimed to inspire women to take on more leadership roles in business and was headlined by internet sensation Jackie Weaver. Jackie shot to fame in February 2021 after her Handforth Parish Council zoom call went viral.
Scheduling and Communications Manager Georgie Newport commented:
“The event was brilliant; it was enlightening to listen to the journeys and stories of other women in leadership roles.
“Both myself and Sharon thoroughly enjoyed the event and could have listened to Jackie Weaver all afternoon.”
