Nant Renews Support for Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s Memory Café Tour

Nant Ltd is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre Memory Café Tour, now in its third consecutive year. The tour began on Tuesday, 22 July and takes dementia-friendly musical performances directly into local care homes, providing uplifting cultural experiences for residents, carers, and staff.

Theatre and singing play an important role in supporting people living with dementia, stimulating memory, emotion, and social interaction. The Memory Café Tour brings these benefits directly into the heart of care homes, providing residents with opportunities to engage, connect, and enjoy live entertainment in a familiar setting.

Richard Deakin, Managing Director at Nant, attended the launch and said:
“It was a pleasure to attend the launch of this year’s Memory Café Tour. It was brilliant to be reminded of the positive impact it has on the people living and working in care. Nant are proud to continue supporting such a meaningful and impactful initiative.”

Performers on the 2025 Tour

This year’s tour includes performances by:

  • Sofie Anné – performing soul and Motown favourites.
  • Beth Belle – bringing vintage songs from the 1920s to 1960s.
  • Darcie Edwards – performing popular classics recognised across generations.

Each programme is designed to be dementia-friendly, ensuring residents can enjoy familiar music that helps spark recognition and positive interaction.

A Partnership with Purpose

For Nant, the Memory Café Tour is a meaningful way to give back to the communities it serves. Many of Nant’s clients operate in the care sector, and the company has seen first-hand the challenges faced by those living with dementia and their carers. Supporting this initiative reflects Nant’s values of Care, Commitment, and Consistency, while helping to bring the benefits of theatre and music directly to those who need them most.

Looking Ahead

Now in its third year, the tour continues to grow in reach and impact, with more performers and care homes involved. By supporting initiatives like this, Nant helps ensure that cultural experiences remain accessible, inclusive, and enriching for people affected by dementia.
